CCCME has 4 industrial
departments and 1 project coordination deprtmert which consist
of 24 specific commodity branches.
The branches are composed of member enterprises
that handle the commodities of the same or similar category.
The functions of the professional branches are
In charge of coordination of import
and export commodities in their professional scope.
In charge of making trade agreements
and supervising and examining their implementation.
Supporting international bidding examination
for import commodities
In charge of coordination of tenders
abroad for complete sets of equipment and large units, according
to division of work within the Chamber.
Supporting the organizing of defending
in anti-dump cases.
Responsible for collection and sorting
out of basic data of the trade, and making analyses of the
exports of key products on a periodical basis.
Responsible for coordinating disputes
arising in competition and maintaining normal order of import
and export trade.
Responsible for organizing investigations
of domestic and overseas markets for relevant commodities.
In charge of organizing lectures, seminars,
training and exchanges and other activities in their respective
trade.
In charge of liaison, information exchange
and cooperation with fellow trade organizations and commercial
institutions.
Involving in Guangzhou Export Commodities
Fair, local fairs, and other exhibitions in and outside China.
Making suggestions to the government
or relevant departments on behalf of member enterprises and
respective trade and helping enterprises in solving difficulties
and problems cropping up in import and export.
Providing consulting service for member
enterprises.
